Jono and Lyndal got married on March 29 at the Baptist Tabernacle, right in the centre of Newcastle.
When we showed up at the house where Lyndal and her bridesmaids were getting ready, it was all calm, cool and collected. Nobody seemed to need to rush around too much which is quite unusual for a wedding day.
Once they arrived at the church, everything just flew by. In between taking photos of the magical moments, my memories, are of the speaker talking of the effort Jono invested in wooing his lovely bride. Looks like it paid off! They walked out of the church to the strains of ‘Starlight’ by Muse, a tune that also happens to be one of my favourites.
After the ceremony and afternoon tea in the park with family and friends, we had time to go to a number of great sites around the area for photos; in Civic Park right next to the church, across the street at the old Fred Ash building and in for beach photos at the Newcastle Baths.
It was a lovely sunny autumn day, not too hot and not cold. Even the wind at the beach calmed down for us to get our shots and everyone had a great time.
I’ll leave you with some of my favourite shots from the day.

Maybe a mother is biased, but I thought it was a wonderful day, and now these photos have confirmed my feelings. They really are beautiful photos. Thanks Josh.
Beautiful photos. Only so sad that we couldn’t be there to share the day with you, but fortunately, it doesn’t look like you missed us. God bless both of you as you begin your journey together.
Awesome photos living light photo dude! Thanks for not putting to many of me sticking out above the crowds.
